Power Snus Guide
Strong nicotine pouches: the complete guide
By Power Snus Guide Editorial · Last updated:
This site covers strong nicotine pouches, the high-strength end of the tobacco-free white pouch market. It's written for adults who already use nicotine and want accurate numbers instead of marketing copy. If you don't use nicotine, this isn't a reason to start: the FDA says adults who don't use tobacco products shouldn't.
What counts as a strong nicotine pouch
"Strong" is a marketing word, not a standard. Brands print strength either as milligrams of nicotine per pouch or as milligrams per gram of pouch material (mg/g), and they name their tiers differently. The retailer whose listings this site checks labels everything in mg/g, from 6 mg/g at the light end to 16 mg/g at the top. For comparison, the FDA's 2025 authorization of ZYN covered 3 mg and 6 mg pouches. The mg guide explains how to convert between the two units and why the label isn't the dose you absorb.
The top tier, described
The highest strength in that catalog is the Cuba Ninja line, which its maker lists at 30 mg/g (15.6 mg per pouch). Below it, at about 16 mg/g as the store lists them, there are three brand lines: KLINT's X-Strong slims, the NEAFS Extra Strong range and a mini pouch from 77. Elsewhere on the market, ZYN's UK range goes up to 16.5 mg per pouch, and lab tests have found single pouches containing up to 47.5 mg. The strongest pouches page sets this out with sources, including countries that cap or ban pouches, and the 50 mg page deals with the most extreme labels.
Strong snus and strong pouches aren't the same thing
Traditional snus contains tobacco; the white pouches covered here don't. This site covers only the tobacco-free kind. The store's comparison of tobacco-free pouches and traditional snus covers the differences in more depth. The Netherlands, for example, bans the sale of both snus and nicotine pouches.
Safety comes before strength
More nicotine per pouch means more risk of nausea, dizziness and the other signs of nicotine poisoning that Poison Control lists. Small children are at particular risk: the FDA reports toxic effects in young children at doses as low as 1 to 4 mg. Nicotine pouches are also not a licensed quit aid in the UK, and the FDA hasn't approved any to help people quit smoking. The safety page covers symptoms, who shouldn't use pouches and the numbers to call.
How this site works
Power Snus Guide is published by a small editorial team, described on the about page. Product strengths are checked against the live product listings at Nico Pod Store, the retailer our product links point to. Health and legal statements are taken from regulators, health authorities and peer-reviewed studies, listed at the foot of each page.
